No, it doesn't need to be your own work, but a lot of people do use their own pictures. and to get it, go to: 1. Control Panel 2. Upload an Avatar 3. Browse 4. choose the pic (100 pixels by 100 pixels) you want 5. Upload 6. Click on avatar in that same page 7. Refresh the window that pops up origamiace I don't think so..
