Short intro + Level 3 reached, Thx to all for the support! |

Thank you for all for the support and major style votes! It made me reach level 3 very rapidly. I never expected to get this much attention on such a short span of time, it never happened before. I'm quite surprised people like my style. I'm used to alot of negative comments if I show my work in public. Probably has to do with the manga hype and prejudice people have about it.
For those who do not know who I am, I'll give a short introduction.
My name is Wanda Korosec, and I am a 22 year old freelance illustrator from the flemish part of Belgium. I already graduated last year, but I'm currently also taking a masteryear in art college, department illustration (an extra year of art college)
This means that all the works uploaded here are my non proffesional works. Works I do for a living can't be uploaded because I am not allowed to post published works. This means that I draw alot more and different things then manga. Examples of some of those works can be seen on my website, but I don't encourage looking there. Only old examples can be found there. The site will be remade during the summer vacation since I pretty much abondoned it.
I started drawing around 2001-2002. I started drawing pretty late, mainly because we never had the funds for art recources. 7 years later I'm proud to say that I've made it on my own, and that I can finally start doing what I like to do.

My first work ever to be published (2007) in a childrens magazine. The image accompanies a short poem as you can see. I switched styles shortly after, so this is not what my most recent works look like. |
