What's been going on lately? I've been watching from the sidelines whenever I've had a chance, but that hasn't been much this past month. On another note, I've just kicked windows vista off my laptop the other day and installed ubuntu linux. So far, it's fantastic. It's cool looking, fast as hell, has everything I want, it's free, and doesn't keep asking me stupid questions. I'm really excited about it... feels like a god-send. Quick tutorial: Select Start > Shutdown. Wait for your settings to save to disk... A new dialog will popup. When you see that, click "Shutdown". Wait for it to install 6 new pieces of something you didn't want it to install but must because there are security risks involved if you dont, restart to initialize the new installations, download the rest of the "upgrades" that couldn't be completed without the first 6 from earlier, install those as well, configure them, then when the "login" dialog re-appears for some reason, click "Shutdown" again.
