Entry 4 |

I had some soup for dinner. A simple one. Weeeeell, yes, I would suppose this entry will focus more on. Em. Soup.
This time, I added some meat, carrots, potatoes, sesame seed oil, onion and lots and lots and lots of ginger. Yes. I just luv that rhizome and I would add it into everything that I cook if available and whenever possible.
I have a strange addiction to spices or foods that leaves a temporary tingling sensation in the mouth. Em. Except for puffer fish. I heard that it gives a tingling after-taste but it brings along a risk of poisoning. And its flesh is basically (or so I recalled) said to be tasteless. Well, I would suppose the Japanese has some weird taste. And its no secret. err, I mean *cough cough*.
Coming back to the soup. I actually prefer pepper over ginger, because pepper, especially black pepper, gives it a stronger punch *ooph* and a fragrant smell. And small amounts, say, three to five shakes, will make up for a 8x8(cm) piece of ginger that I always use up in one serving.
Its all about the ginger.
Anyway, as a sub-entry, I have a chemistry test tomorrow and I should get busy about... right now. Ironically I find myself still typing here. But push that aside for a while.
Another sub-entry is that I am going for a one-day camp tomorrow so I will have to take the test in the morning, as fast as I can. O well. At least I may have cake. Although it has occurred to me that it may be a lie.
