Back from Bristol Expo and other stuff... |

Now I am properly back from the Expo in Bristol and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It was the first time for me and I met many lovely people; "old" and new ones. The atmosphere there was really nice, relaxed and more grown up rather than having the screaming kids like those from the London Expo. Well, there was a bunch but they must have been executed by the stormtroopers in the end. For some reason I start to see those stormtroopers everywhere, not just in London anymore...
Anyways, I took the opportunity to show my portfolio around and I got really good feedback. Thanks to everyone who looked at it! Even Misako Takashima (Misako Rocks!) had a peek and liked it. X3~ She was such a lovely person to talk to. I am also glad to have gotten a signed version of Poison Candy (Tokyopop) from David Hine (writer); yet another nice person to talk to. I think the list goes on...
All in all I would encourage anyone to go to the Bristol Comic Expo. It's a good place to meet like-minded people and to make new contacts besides seeing old faces. ^^
I got a livejournal thanks to  (her pep talk works wonders) and I intend to use it which has several reasons. Thanks once again for the suggestion! I guess you'll find all sorts of verbal vomit in the future on here but don't expect something every single day. :) ...stop by if you want to know more about me. ^_~
